Anyone feed their dog Fromm brand?

Anonymous
Thinking of switching my dog to this. He's be vomiting sporadically and having some loose stools and I'm thinking it's the food. No signs of other issues, he's not lethargic, he has an appetite, just vomits usually soon after he eats. I read that Fromm is really good. I've been hearing mixed reviews about brands like Canadae, Blue, Taste of the Wild, etc. My dog needs grain free, btw.

Any insight on Fromm or other suggestions are appreciated.

Yep. We use it and dog loves it. I think it's a little step up from Blue Buffalo?

Our dog is easy and doesn't have a bad stomach or any sensitivity though. His hair is very healthy and shiny on Fromm though!

Yes, we do. And we love it. Great, quality ingredients and highly rated. We switched after all of our pets started to get strange neurological symptoms -and similar ones- towards their later years. (Once you start looking into what they put into lots of dog food - YIKES!)

Anyway, we switched and from what I'm told (and what I've experienced) it's a much richer food (less filler crap in it). Thus, dogs who are not used to that may have some digestive issues at first. We started mixing it in to the old food for the one dog (the other was on it at the rescue) slowly. We added more Fromm and less other over the course of a few weeks until it was all Fromm. Now, it's fine.

Also, just some unsolicited advice, the symptoms you cite may or may not be the food. Our dog had similar issues that persisted and it wasn't the food but an auto-immune condition. Not suggesting that is the case with you but you might consider a visit to the vet if it continues.

Nope but I feed it to my cat and she loves it. I buy it at Wylie Wagg and they have a frequent buyer program. I was told that Fromm is the only company (I didn't fact check) that has not had any recalls in it's history. I say give a shot and see how it works out.

We buy it at Wylie Wagg too! Every 7th bag is free or something like that. They can give you samples of it also.

OP here, thanks for the feedback, this is great stuff to hear. Good to know about Wylie Wagg's loyalty program, will definitely take advantage of that.

Thanks for this, it really probably wouldn't hurt to take him in and see if it's something that needs more attention. When our boy was a pup I freaked out and took him to the vet over every little thing, now I'm pretty much the opposite and tend to "wait it out" and observe more often than I take him in. If this persists I will definitely take him to the vet!

Thanks again, all!
