Looking for ridiculously soft sheets -- tried the high thread count cotton ones, and even after years of washing, they still seem kind of stiff. I'm thinking of trying bamboo sheets. Any recommendations? |
DO NOT i fell for this - they are very soft but after one wash they pilled up!
not kidding! Terrible pilling - I tossed out bottom sheets! I put bad review on Amazon. Waste of $$. |
OP here- huh. Ok, anyone have any other recommendations for soft sheets? |
Based off my bamboo Aden and Anais swaddle blankets I agree with pp |
PP here - just wanted to post quick reply so you don't waste your time and money on bamboo sheets. They are soft but I could not believe the pills that formed in the area where we sleep. And TMI here- DS is not bathing enough (summer, tween) and the pills on his sheets were a dirty color! Ugh! I could not believe it, i was embarrassed that i wasted so much money. I threw out the dirty-pill bottom sheet and use the other one for spreading Legos on the floor. |
I haven't tried them, but maybe the jersey knit ones? In winter you can do flannel. My favorite set is by Martha Stewart from Macy's - had them for years and no pilling! |
The top sheets are ok but they are kind'a flimsy - like, they don't hold a shape. They wrinkle up on the sides and the pillow cases slip off- i would go with thick cotton- and I am constantly on the hunt for soft sheets. |
I have tried jersey knit before and did not like them either. Not enough structure. Wimpy sheets.

Have you tried Pratesi sheets? They are available at Bloomingdales.com. They are extremely pricey, but if you do buy them, please come back and post a review here!! I would love to have some but I can't seem to pull the trigger on spending that amount on bed sheets.
