| I really want to start freelancing (writing) and know that I would be very good at it. However, I am leary of the freelance.com type websites that require you to pay $ to join. I am a writer who can write blogs, marketing materials, grant proposals, etc. How do you find freelance jobs? |

I'd try idealist.org and Association Media and Publishing; they tend to have a lot of part time, contract gigs for writing and marketing.
I agree you should NEVER pay to provide your talent. Put together a great portfolio and apply for some gigs to get a great stable of people who want to use you. |
