Contractor keeps delaying work

Anonymous
I had a contractor/handyman (highly recommended by several colleagues) come out mid-July to look at some repairs that I need done-at first I was told they would be able to come out mid- August, now I"m being told mid-September.

The work I need done is small repairs (as opposed to major renovation)--am I being bumped to the end of the list because it's not a large paycheck for them?

Of course. He's running a business and has made the calculated risk that if you cancel your business because of the delay he's fine with that.

You've been dumped. Find someone else.

Sigh, and I was going to ask for additional work to be done.

Anyone have a contractor/handyman recommendation for southern MoCo?
