I don't care for the name of this wine, due to the fact that this was a term used to describe slaves that were hung from trees. I will not purchase it for that reason and will discourage others from buying it as well. Do your homework , because I don't think the black community will appreciate this label. I will do everything I can to make them aware of it going forward.

Geez. That is not the only meaning and only you seem to be aware of it.

I’ve heard the term “strange fruit” used to refer to lynching victims. There is an anti-lynching protest song by Billie Holliday by that name.

“Low hanging fruit” is a term that is used to refer to fruit that is easy to pick. It’s been expanded to refer to anything easily accomplished.

Whhhaaattt?

That certainly isn’t what it means now. Low hanging fruit is easy and accessible, typically not the best quality. It’s a perfectly acceptable term.

I don't where you got that idea, my friend, but you're buying into a complete lie. The name has nothing to do the slaves, hangings or racism. Low hanging fruit was the easiest to harvest and that's where the name came from. You should stay away from those liberal websites that think every supposed form of speech of which they're ignorant is rooted in slavery. Try checking your facts.

You can not change the past definition of a word or Phrase To fit your new narrative, Low hanging fruit means the same as it did in the past as it does in the present you need to educate your self by listening to Billie Holiday’s song and watch the biopic of her life, (Lady Sings the Blues) for you to understand what this really means l, and get off your high horse trying to explain to someone something that you don’t understand.
