Anyone watch The Middle?

My daughter is very similar to Sue, the middle child. Enthusiastic, giggly, and blissfully unaware. Does well in school, but is clumsy, non-athletic, doesn't sing well, etc. but tries so dang hard. Do these children ever get their spirits crushed? I'm worried it's coming at some point.

The Middle is very entertaining. Sue fares better than real life "Sues."

Absolutely agree.

What I love about the show is how accepting the parents are of their kids quirks. I wish I could do the same but mostly my kids quirks annoy the crap out of me.

I really think that every kid does at some point, even the ones that seem like they have everything much easier. Its part of growing up. What's probably most important is to teach your kid that getting joy from something is more important than other people getting joy from you doing well!
