why delete "fat people are unhappy" thread?

Why was the "fat people are unhappy" thread deleted? FWIW, I'm the OP, and I'm fat, and my intent was not fat shaming. I think when a fat person pretends to be happy, he/she can't begin to live a more healthy life. I've certainly read tons of things on here that sounded much, much worse. Just curious! TIA

Regardless of your intentions when starting the thread, it had basically become another fat person bashing thread. We've had about 10 of them lately. That's really not the direction we want the website to go. I suggest that someone might be able to successfully start a forum devoted to fat-bashing. But, that person won't be me.
