New poster here. PP, could you please elaborate? I'm due to see Dr Tanen next month due to hypothyroidism. He came highly recommended by my OBGYN, but now I'm having second thoughts. I would appreciate any insights/ experiences. Thanks!

I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend Dr. Maria Garcia. Referred to her by a friend after being with a terrible endocrinologist for nearly a year. She's really terrific and when I mention her to my other doctors (gyn, fertility doctor, general practitioner) they have all commented that she's supposed to be the best. I agree!

I have to disagree with the previous poster. I go to Dr. Tanen for hypothyroidism and am very happy with the care. He is careful without being alarmist and I am always taken on time for my appointment. You might want to keep your appointment and see what you think.
