Installing ac this winter, pay cash or home equity?

Just curious. It may cost me 20k to install a brand new system in my house. Should I use cash or look to get a home equity line of credit to pay for this and why? We plan kn keeping this house no more than 2-3 more years.

If you are cautious you pay cash. If you are crazy use home equity, and invest the cash in the stock market or Vegas or whatever.
