I should clarify that I want horseback to be the main activity, not just one of several activities offered at the camp. For children who take lessons during the year, so a little more intense.

Camp Friendship in Palmyra, VA has an extensive equestrian program, although I think there is an upcharge for it.

I went to Camp Friendship for 3 years and loved it. The first year, I went to their general camp and took horseback riding as an activity. I fell in love with it and went back for 2 more summers to their riding camp.
