How does your spouse make you feel special?

I adore my husband. He is really special and my best friend. He absolutely spoils and dotes on me. He has always left me a note before he goes to work.

I'd love to know from other husbands what are the little things I can do to make him feel special and spoiled? How does your wife make you feel special? What would you like her to do to show you how much she appreciates you?

We've been together 22 years, married 20 - four children, if that helps. We are very affectionate on a daily basis, I tell him I love him at least once a day, date night once a week. Its just that I am pretty wrapped up with our children's lives, church and various committees/volunteering and I want to up my daily game of doting on him. Help?

I am not looking for the typical "blow job and a steak" answer. We have a healthy sex life, no complaints from either of us.

We are both WOH and both do about 50% of the parenting. But he always seems to know when I have had a particularly tough day or really, really need an extra hour of sleep and offers to take the kids out to dinner while I catch my breath, or handle the Saturday morning activity run so I can sleep in (I try to do this for him, too). Without making me feel guilty in the least. I think it's because he notices me enough & is in tune enough with how I feel to make the offer, without me having to say anything. And because he is stretched thin too, but is generous about taking on extra. That extra hour of sleep? Worth more than flowers.

Leave him a lunch note. Clearly he enjoys notes since he leaves them for you. What does he like?

Honestly, you tell him how much your love and appreciate him. You tell him how you feel like the luckiest and most special woman on the planet because of him.

You tell your friends and gush over him - and do it in front of him.

My DW does this and I can tell you I feel all her love for me and more - and then we also have crazy monkey sex too
