More specifically crabgrass and goosegrass. Came home from a long vacation to find our beds invaded. Pulling this stuff is a bitch and a half, yet it needs to be pulled.
Husband wants a green garden. He does not want to weed. Guess who lost the battle re: a pre-emergent for this fall and on further down the line? I won't use it in food beds but I can't manage the large beds single-handedly. If I pay someone to come in, all my flowers and perennials are pulled as weeds, and I'm left with just the shrubs. I have yet to find a company who does not do this. Signed - "now crashed on the couch and in pain"
