Was I supposed to tip?

Yesterday was my birthday and some friends sent me an "Edible Arrangements" fruit bouquet. Was I supposed to tip him? It all happened so fast!

It's not like I'm going to go to the store and track him down, but I posted so I can figure out what to do in the future--say "wait here" so I could run to my purse I guess?

That is why there is a $12.99 delivery charge added to the final price of the order (I just placed an order on Friday for my mom's birthday).

I usually tip delivery people but that is not standard for everyone

Since you didn't order it for yourself and didn't expect the delivery, it's probably ok that you didn't tip.
