How accurate is the connected users list and the number of guests online at the bottom of the main forum page? How often does it update? Thanks

Approximately half accurate. We have two nodes and the list at the bottom will only reflect the node to which you are connected. You won't have visibility into what is happening on the other node, though traffic should be roughly evenly divided.
