Would you rather have a bathtub or a second sink in the master bath?

Renoing our master bath and considering simply upgrading the standing shower and installing a second sink or putting in a new tub/shower and keeping the one sink.

Which do you prefer? Husband says sink, I say tub.... Main hall bath does have a tub, but it's the only other bathroom in the house.

Depends how big the bathroom is overall. If there's a ton of counter space already, I don't really care about a second sink and would go tub.

I think tub generally adds more value to the house if that's what you're after. Do you have tubs elsewhere in the house?

I'm guessing you mean standard size tub instead of Jacuzzi tub? Either way, I vote 2nd sink.

Hmmm. Tough without seeing the space. If you already have a tub, I would go with high-end walk-in shower and two sinks.
However, for resale purposes, I believe two tubs are more valuable.

I would wayyyyy prefer a nice big shower and two sinks. Especially if you already have a tub on the same floor. I'm not a bath person though.

There's a tub at the end of the hall to be shared between the other bedrooms, but I'd prefer a tub in our ensuite bathroom.
Isn't a ton of counter space, but I'd definitely want to add recessed storage and install a vanity with more storage too.

Why no question?
Hmm this is turning out to be more evenly split between tub vs sink than I thought!
