substitution for pistachios in Moroccan stew

I'm making a Moroccan chickpea and vegetable stew that calls for either pistachios or almonds which I forgot to get at the store today. I have walnuts and cashews on hand. Which would you use? I'm leaning toward the cashews.

Cashews! Walnuts have a more distinctive taste that may not blend well.
