Does FCPS have whistlebower protection for staff?

Now that we are in such a state of crisis financially, I wonder if many staff has noticed major wasting or misuse of funds, but are afraid to come forward.

...that link is for grievances by represented employees. That is a VERY different thing that whistleblower protections!

Good point. They need to have protection so that we can find out if any of this shortfall is from misuse of funds. I presume taxes will eventually go up because the of the school budget issues. If they are going to keep getting into these budget disasters than we need more checks and balances in place to ensure every dollar is spent appropriately on programs that truly benefit most of the students. We also need to make sure that low income children don't suffer further due to poor budgeting.
