More stores like - Room and Board, CB2, etc....

I'm redecorating and I'm looking for more places to shop. So far I've been looking at Room and Board, CB2, Crate and Barrel, West Elm, Design within reach (I'd prefer more within my reach than that...) Restoration Hardware. Does anyone have other ideas? I'm looking for a rug currently, but need other pieces as well. Thanks!

If you're looking for a rug, Overstock gets a lot of favorable play here. They do have a lot of rugs at good prices, but I've never bought.

online I also look at Ballard Designs and even Home decorators.

I'm a big fan of being picky at Ikea - that is, Ikea has some really good things, with a LOT of very not great things. So if you're choosy you can score at Ikea. People ask us all the time where we got our media console and can't believe it's Ikea (it's dark wood and just doesn't scream Ikea the way their blonde wood does).

Specifically now I am looking for a 9x12 rug. I'm sure Ikea has any (plus my husband is pretty anti Ikea.) I'll check out Bo and Dot and All Modern, thanks.

Overstock actually has very nice rugs that look exactly like the picture and description. I was pleasantly surprised.

Check out Anthropologie and even Urban Outfitters if you taste leans a little funky/modern

I get the best finds on Craigslist. Not even kidding! You vs type "Restoration Hardware, for example, into the search engine to weed out the "junk", and keep entering higher end name brands to search.

Check rugsusa for rugs. I've had good success. They always have discount codes floating around the internet for like 60% off.

Other stores: Z Gallerie, Arhaus, Mitchell Gold.

Bassett has a decent selection of rugs.

Design Within Reach means they keep their stupid expensive brand-name designer stuff in stock (so it's within reach). Terrible name. I did buy a sale rug from them recently, and I absolutely love it. I will stalk their sales. I also have bought rugs from schoolhouse electric (mid century style modern stuff) that are really nice. Some of my ikea rugs have not held up at all; others are doing ok. Crapshoot. Overstock never seems to look like the photos.
