| I find that I have the most ewcm at the very beginning of the fertile window, days before ovulation. Drive is higher then too. Maybe I'm just tiring out and need to hold off for a few days, even though it seems like prime time? Or is this indicative of an issue? |

How are you determining when your fertile window is? Are you temping or using OPKs? If you're using OPKs, it's possible that they are not properly identifying your fertile window and that temping could paint a clearer picture. If you are temping also, your body just may be producing more EWCM a few days before your fertile window -- just have intercourse whenever you see EWCM, and supplement with Preseed if you're drying up a bit before your temp rise. I also find that I get the most abundant EWCM 1-2 days before I actually ovulate.
Also, this likely isn't the issue, but do you have regular cycles (approximately every 24-35 days)? Some women with PCOS will have patches of EWCM as their bodies gear up to ovulate and then will not actually release an egg, and then weeks later will have more EWCM as their bodies try to ovulate again. Is that possibly an issue with you? |
| Temps, opks, etc. I don't think I have pcos; my testosterone is actually low-ish and my cycles are within a normal range. |

It's also possible that you ovulate as indicated by your EWCM but that your temps don't catch up for a few days.
But if you're having regular cycles and just more abundant EWCM a few days prior to O, I don't think you have anything to worry about. That is my same pattern and I was able to get pregnant. Best of luck! |
Yeah, just nervous bc didn't dtd at all yet since it was only day 8! Usually ov day 12-14. |
| Yep, days before is prime time. |
| Ok, I'm in the clear! Smiley face today. Phew! I think maybe that other stuff was remnants from my period or something. |
Get to work!
