| It's anonymous, so tell it like it is. Jamberry, R&F, it works... What's the deal? So you actually believe in the product? How much do you make? How much do you spend to start? Do you know you're annoying? I mean, you have to internally roll your eyes a tiny bit every time you copy and paste the bs from the guidebook, right? How do you answer friends who call you on on the ridiculousness? |
|
Bump. I would love to know about this. So many of my friends from high school do this and I cannot wrap my head around it.
I'm also interested in your socioeconomic background. On my FB profile the people who do this are SAHMs or WOHMs with low-level jobs. Most have college educations from local colleges. What's the appeal? Are you really as happy as you say? |

| OMG is everyone else's FB feed inundated with hype from the big BeachBody conference in Nashville this weekend? Nauseating! |
No, mine is inundated with the big Visalus (Body by Vi) conference in Chicago. They're everywhere! |
| I have one friend who posts every day about the stuff she buys and her #shoppingannuity and #payingherteam. It seems so ridiculous - all the talk about how much money she is saving but it really seems like she has a shopping addiction. I don't even know what company this is for , but I feel sorry for her in a way. |
| Mine is filled with the Stella and Dot "hoopla" in Las Vegas. |
| Why hasn't anyone fess'd up? |
I don't think there will be much fessing up. The people who get sucked into these tend to be naive and/or not too bright. They fell for the scam in the first place, after all. |
| Id really like to see someone's paycheck. I know they aren't allowed to show them in real life but maybe someone could do it annonymously |
Mine also! The best part is all of the women saying things about how awesome their job is and look how much fun I'm having at work. Be honest. Are you being paid to attend this or did you pay them to attend and pay your own way for tickets and meals? Because if the later is the case then you're being duped big time. Or you're not being honest. |
Yes. I want to know how taxes work for these prepaid debit cards. Are they taken our or is it the employees responsibility to pay taxes? I can't imagine they are all paying taxes properly. |

Well, I used to sell Tupperware. I'd dress up in 50s dress and do the whole schtick at parties. I can tell you that I sincerely loved Tupperware! I could see the ridiculous aspect of it, but there was also something sweet and optimistic about this roomful of women oohing and ahhhing about the latest food-storing innovation.
I made a little bit of money, but mostly I had fun. I don't have much Tupperware anymore, but no regrets! |
And they are BUYING jewelry, not SELLING it there. Geez, people, I really cannot believe they don't see money flowing out of their accounts. It's baffling that what seem like intelligent people are swept up in this. Sad, really. |
Yes! Although I ended up hiding that particular person so as not to have to see all that drivel, it is still sneaking through. |
