Ugh, the dryness--does it ever stop?

Itchy scalp, constantly chapped lips, and eyes so dry I can't wear my contact lenses and I think I've developed blepharitis. Will things ever go back to "normal"?

I have no answer but just wait until it gets dry "down there". That's a lot of fun!

There's also an autoimmune disorder that can cause all that dryness, OP. Or your thyroid may be out of whack. Get checked out.

Unless you have adult acne at 51.

I'm dreading this. Does hormone replacement therapy make you feel normal again, or do you just have to live with it?

Thankfully there are excellent lubes, and after a while, you get used to having to use them, but yeah, I think I hate the dryness and thinning skin most of all. Hormone replacement is not allowed for me. I massage a lot of coconut oil into my skin, all over. It makes everything more supple.
