| Trying to compare the two programs for their fall competitive crew. Any helpful insight would be appreciated. |
| For a rower or coxswain? |

I am looking at the programs for a rower.

How'd TBC do at the Club Championships this week-end?

Which are the better private school teams for someone who wants to row? I've heard STA, GDS, Cathedral in DC. Others? |
| Gds??? Great school but not on the list of schools with good crew programs. |
Gonzaga by a long shot. |
GDS can't be described as a powerhouse, but is definitely an up and coming team. It is a great school, and team alumni have gone on to row at the Ivys. |
| Cathedral!talk with coach king @TBC. |
also look at the results from WMIRA, see the schools and take u pick. Not all schools took part though, NCS was at some other regatta in VA that day. |
| Several STA/NCS rowers and coxswains for TBC just took home over half a dozen medals from the USRowing Club National Championships this past weekend, with the most significant accomplishments being the gold medal among the U19 Men's 8+, and silver medals for both the men and women's teams in the U17 8+ categories, mostly only losing to prospective junior national team rowers. TBC also placed second in the overall team points/medal standings. The TBC junior women's program is coached by Greg King, also the NCS rowing head coach. The junior men's program is coached by Elliott Lane, also the Whitman men's head coach. |
I have to agree with this. GDS's academics may be on par with STA and NCS, but they are a long way's off from being considered among these scholastic rowing national powerhouses. |

Sounds like TBC is more competitive but there's also the Capital Rowing Club juniors program. https://www.capitalrowing.org/crcwp/join/special-programs/juniors/
