We have a very bright and sunny living and dining room that is currently kind of a masking tape yellow and I think it needs a new color. Couch is bright green. Rug has green and grey tones in it. Floors are natural pine. Kitchen cabinets (adjoining room) are white. Lots of green trees visible through windows. I want to keep the sunny feel but move away from the yellow. Thoughts? |
Since you have a bright room, why not use white to make the green pop? I wish I could white but my living room isn't bright enough

Beautiful. Wall paint color are the walls? Thanks. |
Love the BM color of the year Guilford Green but probably won't work with the couch. |
Reminds me of Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter. |
You can google for articles about different tones of white paint. I've read some blog articles where decorators discuss their favorite shades of white and the ones they hate. If you go the white route, they are a good resource to help you pick the right shade for the light you get in your room and funky undertones to avoid. |
