| I noticed a sore spot on my spine a week ago - a bit above my bra strap. I have not injured it to my knowledge. It doesn't bother me in general, just if i press on it, it feels like it's bruised. Anyone have this before? |
| I do, and I assumed it was tension from the bra or the way I sit. Guess I'm screwed if it's cancer... |
| I have one. It's from my epidural. Never really went away. |

I have had something similar lately. A specific spot on the spine that felt bruised and later my whole spine hurt/ached. I was scared about cancer too. Went to the dr and he said to rest my back, don't lift anything and take some Advil with a call back so if not better. Feeling better actually but may go back to get it checked out - have some health anxiety.
In my case, I think it may have to do with being under tremendous stress, which also showed up as tension in my shoulders. Hope we are all doing better. Get it checked out OP and PP |
| Thanks all, I suppose I should get it checked out. What type of doctor should I see, does anyone know? |
| I had one of these and figured out that it was from sitting/leaning a certain way in a hard chair for a prolonged period. It wasn't really painful while I was doing it, but the continuous pressure was just enough to cause soreness on one vertebra later. |
So funny, I had this too! It went away after a few years, but would hurt anytime I sat in a hard backed chair. The docs had no idea why, and frankly didn't care for the fact that they caused it. |
