Would you take a 7:30am flight (leave house at 5:30am) to save $200

We have vouchers/credits on Jet Blue but to use them would need to take a 7:30am flight leaving our house at 5:30 with our 5 and 8 yo girls. Or not use the credits, take a different airline and flight would be 10am. Credits are worth about $200. WWYD?

Absolutely. Just tell them it's going to be an early morning and push through it. Totally worth it for a discount of $200!

Without question.

Of course! The kids will think it's fun.

That's the way we are leaning but wondering if we are crazy. At least we wouldn't have much traffic to the airport!

I would.

I select that flight whenever possible.

If you take the later flight, you'll need to leave earlier due to rush hour traffic anyway.

No, I would not. There are always 6 or 7am flights and I never choose them. It disrupts the whole day. I also do not like flights that have stopovers.

Yes

OP here - to be clear, the $200 is total, not per person.

Yep!! Have done it and would do it again. I sleep very well on planes. In fact I can't keep my eyes open.

Sure! $200 isn't nothing.

Definitely not. Sleep is important in our household. Cranky kids are not worth it. I just booked 8:30 flights and wondering if it is too early.

7:30 is my dividing line, although I wouldn't leave my house until 6 for a 7:30 flight. The plus is that you get to your destination earlier.
