Headache from Stims?

This is my first ivf and I just started Bravelle and Menopur last night and have had a headache all day. Has anyone else had this? I hope I don't have to deal with a headache for the next 10-12 days!

I didn't have anything like that but maybe it depends on the dosage?

Are you drinking plenty of water? My IVF was a few years ago, but I have vague memories of a headache, and needing to drink a lot of water to keep it at bay.

I had that too, and I never get headaches otherwise. I took a nap where I could and tried to drink more water. A friend suggested peppermint oil as a natural remedy, but I can't say whether it works or not. I had them every few days for a couple of weeks.

I have gotten headaches too but they go away after a few days...

I get them when I'm on BCP and the beginning of del-estrogen/PIO, but they eventually go away.

Keep hydrated with a drink that has electrolytes like coconut water (harvest bay brand is good if you hate coconut water). Or make Kate's Miracle Hydrating Drink (do a google search for the recipe).

OP here. Thanks for the suggestions. I will try the coconut water and making sure I stay very hydrated.

Ganirelex gave me a headache but it was gone by the morning. I don't think it's out of the ordinary. But if it's really bad, make sure you tell your nurse.
