Inexpensive all-inclusive??

Hubby and I have the opportunity for 4-5 kid free days. Only catch is my brother who will watch him lives in Raleigh so it would be easier to fly in/out from there. any ideas where to go?
Originally wanted to do wine country in CA, but realized that after airfare ($700), hotel ($700), car($300), and then eating and drinking we couldn't spend that much. Plus we'd have to pay for the daycare that week too. Open to ideas, thanks! |

| If you are looking to jsut remain on the resort, look into the Mayan Riviera. Yes there are alerts about traveling to Mexico but if you jsut plan to hang out at the resort, eat, drink and rest I am sure you will be fine. |

| Another thought is if you have to drop your little one down in Raleigh, why not just drive down to Savannah or Charleston or Hilton Head or Tybee Island, and spend some time at a great resort just hanging out, water activities, tours, good food and drink. Or you may be able to hop a flight to Bermuda (I've heard hotel rates are down due to economy) and stay there a few days. |

| Bahamas is even cheaper (than Bermuda), because the flights are so low. And there are lots of all inclusives to choose from. Plus you are guaranteed warm weather (unlike in the area, which might still have lingering coolness). |

| Yeah, we did a cheap all inclusive on the Grand Bahama Island. Not as much stuff to do as the others, but it was beautiful and relaxing. There's also a small botanical garden you can bike to, which is really lovely. Let me see if I can find the resort. I forget the name... |

| I just received the Costco coupons in the mail yesterday and in the back they had a thing for an all inclusive trip in Cancun starting at $399 a person. |
