Yardwork- DC Rowhouse

We have such a tiny yard it really isn't worth buying and storing a lawnmower. Any recommendations for someone to hire?

I usually hire by posting a note on craigslist, offering $15 an hour for someone to do a few hours yardwork. It usually takes three hours, and I pay them $60.

Alternatively, post on your local community email newsgroup if you have one.

Not exactly in response to your question, but when we had a small yard that didn't justify storing a lawnmower, we just used a weed whacker for the whole thing - it didn't take very long and much less storage.

We do the same. I'm slowly getting rid of the lawn in the backyard of our rowhouse but in the meantime, the weedwhacker works just fine.
