We are in NW DC and the would like to remodel our kitchen. We will not need to knock down any walls but would like to get new cabinets, counters, appliances and would like add/design/build an island. Please recommend the company you used for your kitchen remodel. Thank you. |
Stay away from Bray & Scarff. Or if you must use them, buy your appliances elsewhere. They did a beautiful job on our kitchen remodel, but their warranty department is a nightmare to work worth.
If I had it to do all over again, I would have gone through Home Depot. |
Jan Goldman of Kitchen Elements. She is amazing and fun to work with. Her prices are fair and the job is done right. No regrets.

Chris at Reico is fantastic and they have the entire spectrum from builder grade to high-end solid wood options. |
We used chesapeake kitchen and bath. We really liked them and they have great angies list reviews. |
Thanks for the recommendations! |
We used sears once for our kitchen remodel - they don't move walls but basically do 'pull and replace'. We were very pleased with the quality of the cabinets plus the cost/quick install. |
I'm looking to do some upgrades on our kitchen. I've been in touch with both Bray and Scarff and with Chesapeake Kitchen. They've sent out designers but I can't seem to get proposals or designs out of them. It's so frustrating and feels like such a waste of everyone's time. Not sure what gives, but I'm going to try Jan Goldman. Maybe three time's a charm! |
