| My dog is exhausted all of a sudden. His appetite is good, but he usually runs with me and now does not even want to take a walk. I'm so worried about lyme disease or heartworms. I haven't always been really diligent with his heartworm pills and we live on Rock Creek Park. Has anyone experienced these? |

I think the heatworm meds can be harmful if you skipped doses and they currently have heartworm. At least with trifexis. Get him tested soon at the vet.
Maybe he is just dehydrated? |

| Have the vet check kidney function. That was the issue when this happened to my dog, combined with rear leg weakness and extreme thirst. Good luck OP!!! |

| Were you home all day yesterday, when you are usually away during the day? My dog usually sleeps about 16 hours a day. When we are home on the weekends, you can tell he didn't get his 8 hour nap. |

| Scheduled a visit with the vet on Monday. He's a little better today. Still worried about our pooch. Crazy how attached you can get to a dog. He and my youngest son have the same personality. |

| Have the dog's bloodwork checked. Ours was postive for lyme. |
