College Park Academy?

Any information on this relatively new school? The test scores look very good given that its only a couple of years old (http://www.pearsoned.com/wp-content/uploads/College-Park-Academy_Success-Story.pdf) but I wonder if relying so heavily on computer based learning is good for young kids.

It's a good fit for some, not for others. Kids are expected to be fairly independent and the work is pretty advanced. Some kids have not been prepared for this level of work in elementary school. For the kids that are prepared, it's a good challenge. Most of the teachers are great at engaging the students in the classroom so they get a lot of stimulation that is not on the computer. If your kid is not self-directed though, it can be a disaster.
