| I've had a headache for 48 hours now (maybe the progesterone I'm taking?) and all I want to do is pop a huge fistful (not really!) of ibuprofen since that's really the only way to fix it. Tylenol is not doing the trick. Thoughts? |
| Fine. If you do not get pregnant, it will not be because of some ibuprofen. No need to suffer with a headache. |
| My doctor told me to avoid it, but if you're really suffering, you're probably safe to take 1-2 pills. Hope you feel better! |
| I've heard Tylenol only bc Advil/Aleve can make the uterine lining "slippery" |

I had this issue last month, took Tylenol after reading that ibuprofen thins the blood and can possibly affect implantation. That's what I found online in threads, not medical advice.
|
| Hmmm, ok. I took some once, hopefully it won't make a difference. |

I avoided advil during the TTW for two years. The month I got pregnant, I thought there was NO chance I'd be pregnant (for a variety of reasons) since we had made the decision to move on to IVF. So when I had some cramping during the TWW, I thought I was just in for a hellish period and downed advil several times over the course of two days. 4 days later, BFP.
My baby is fine. Pregnancy was healthy. No need to suffer, two advil won't make that big a difference. Try taking the minimum that will help your pain, but honestly I can't imagine it will keep you from getting pregnant. |
