GYN Recommendation please- anywhere in the DC area (crosspost from Fifty & Over Forum)

This is a crosspost. My post wasn't getting any attention so thought I would try this forum:



I'm 49. Period ended 1.5 yrs ago so I think I really need to switch doctors.

My OB/GYN is okay, but I really want a Gyn only, one that is very well versed on all things menopause. Preferably someone with eastern-western medicine emphasis.

My sex drive has 100% disappeared. And lots of vaginal dryness. I am also concerned about my decreasing hormone levels and that effect on my skin, hair and nails.

any suggestions? I am pretty desperate

I see Amy Levav in Rockville. She is very thorough and great about giving diet and exercise advice. Can't speak to her knowledge of eastern medicine though.
