Does anyone know if Maddux has a shortage of girls in their classrooms? I've been told that my daughter is a perfect fit for their program and wondering if she would be in the minority.

Yes, girls are a 'shortage', as it is mostly boys--like many of the other programs for kids that need sensory-motor, ot, speech, social skill support.

I realize I should just ask the school this directly, but what's your guess -- do you think there's any chance of a late applicant girl who fits their exact profile student for kindergarten?

You can ask, but I know that they've made their admissions decisions for next year.

My son was admitted to the afternoon PreK class. We are very happy. We received the letter last Saturday.

I would not hesitate to ask about a late applicant, especially a girl.

Late applicants have been accepted in the past.
