Recommend a part time job with IVF benefits in MD?

Anonymous
I used to be a teacher, and IVF was covered 100%. After our second fresh cycle and 3rd FET, we finally conceived our now 10 month old son. We're want to try again but I'm SAH and my husband's insurance is out of PA. I'm thinking about taking a part time (nights, weekends?) job just for the IVF coverage. Any suggestions?

I think that any job through the large University of Maryland system has IVF benefits.
Maybe some sort of position at the college park campus? If we lived closer to Baltimore I'd suggest some type of part time clerk position at the U of Maryland Medical Center because that type of job could easily have evening/weekend hours. I know that the medical center employees do get IVF benefits (6 cycles paid at 100%).

Unfortunately, I think finding a job like this will be extremely challenging. Very few places offer medical insurance to part-time workers. Good luck!

I think I read somewhere that Starbucks covers fertility, even for part-timers. Something to look into at least.
