Someone is pulling up old AMA threads and asking this question. Not sure if this is some new cultural reference I'm not getting or what,but thought I'd point it out before the entire topics page is filled by these.

Have you had the experience of a young child making a joke and you laugh at it even if it isn't that funny just to make the kid feel good? Then, they keep telling the same joke over and over expecting you to find it funny each time. I don't know about you, but my humor runs out fairly quickly when that happens with my patience expiring shortly thereafter. My patiences expired at light speed in this case. Unless someone's toddler is posting on DCUM, there is really no good reason to post the same thing on a dozen threads.

I still don't see the humor in it. I've never been able to punt a football (although I have run several marathons) and I don't see how that has to do with anything.
