We will have 70 people, a mix of kids and adults. How many should I order (there will be other food but no other entrees) and what kind? I am thinking half cheese and half pepperoni and assuming 2 pieces a person, including kids. I thought that would accomodate small kids and those who might eat much more than 2 slices.
Which chain pizza place has the best deals for larger orders? Dominos? (I'm not going for gourmet here; I just don't want to break the bank.) I want to have the order delivered. Thanks!! |
| Ask them to square cut some of them -- works much better for kids since a normal slice is too big for their hands. Papa Johns does this. |
| I really hope you aren't doing 70 people for a kids birthday party. |
Lol, no...church gathering. |
Great tip - thanks! |

Dominos has the best deals.
Half cheese. 1/4 pepperoni 1/4 other ingredients |
That sounds about right. The 'other' might be onions, mushrooms, olives, etc. Figure at least two pieces per person. I would check to see if there is some local alternative to the big chains. They might be willing to cut a deal for a big order. Chain pizza just gets so old after a while. |
Yes, definitely square cut or ask them to "party cut" it. Smaller pieces= less wasted pizza. |

Order Ledo's. They are square pizzas so you don't have to do any special cutting. Works really well for kids parties.
Cost is pretty similar to domino's. http://ledopizza.com/pizza-calculator/ |
| Potomac Pizza is fantastic, and it's relatively cheap. It's a step up from Domino's or whatever, and it'll taste so much better. |
. The Mama Lucia is much better pizza. They cook it in an oven as opposed to a conveyor belt. It is priced the same as Potomac Pizza. |
