stupid question about throw pillows

Is there a difference between the kind of throw pillows you put on your bed for color and the ones you put on your coach or armchairs? I found some pillows at Pottery Barn that match the colors in our new bedroom almost exactly, but the item description specifically says, "adds beautiful texture to a sofa or chair". Would it be weird to use one of them on our bed? FYI, here's a pic:

No, use them! Are the covers washable? Is the fabric scratchy?

They're fine. Can't say they look too comfortable, however.

Some of the ones for sofas and chairs seem a lot firmer than the ones you find on beds. However, they are entirely for your enjoyment and comfort so if you like them, then get them. Those are really pretty!

Sure, the texture is thicker but no one will notice or care, I guarantee.

Not at allspice is more important to be comfortable. Says a designer with outdoor fabric pillows in my family room.
