We have the FLOR brand carpet tiles in several places.
The little dots that are supposed to hold them down are not perfect in high traffic situations.
I would recommend gluing them down with carpet glue.

There is a show room in Georgetown.

You can also see some FLOR at Amicus Green in Kensington

FLOR is awesome. They aren't cheap, but hold up incredibly well.

Agree with others that Flor are great, but that the stickers don't work on high traffic areas. I am constantly having to adjust the last row of our living room carpet, as we use this stretch for walking into the kitchen. And I have triple the amount of stickers that they recommend! So glue would be better.

We bough carpet tiles from Home Depot. Can't even tell they are carpet tiles, they are very soft and look like wall-to-wall carpeting.
