Which do you like best? If any? Different versions of the Coach Bonnie Crossover bag.
|
| They're not my style, but I'd go with one of the leather versions - Coach's fabric bags sometimes have fraying issues. Does one of the two colors work better with your wardrobe? |
Thank you, that's good to know. The green would be better for me. They come in brown and black as well. I work in a conservative field, with a conservative wardrobe, and just wanted to add a little color for once, though.

I like the green. |
| Love the green |
| OP, I love the green but I have to tell you I saw what looked like a 14 year old girl in Starbucks on East West Highway in Bethesda today with the pink one. That kind of killed it for me. Once the BCC crowd buys a purse I wont touch it. |
| I like the green or the pink. I think the fabric with the logo is a little tacky. You may want to check out the Leesburg outlets - i got a great all leather kate spade bag yesterday for $115 and the coach outlet has some really nice ones too. I wouldn't worry abotut the BCC crowd - my 16 YO has better taste than I do so it doesn't bother me. |
| I like the pink. It would go best with my spring wardrobe. I wouldn't worry about the kids either. If you like it, get it. |
| I would think it's a little conservative for teens, though I guess there's a certain princessiness to the pink one. Hm. |
| Sorry, I don't like either one. Jcrew has some nice bags this year. Kate Spade outlet had some very nice things as did the Cole Haan outlet in Lessburg per a recent visit. A great tan leather tote comes to mind from 500 or so down to 130ish? Worth checking out perhaps. I just think the Coach thing is overdone and a bit too suburban./exurban. Not trying to be snob. I don't think it's the money you spend, you can spend the same or less and do better. |
| I agree with PP! The bags are old fashioned and ugly. You can do much better! |
| I'm on record as liking the green bag and think it's appropriate for OP's conservative wardrobe. I do find Coach bags kind of... classic rather than stylish, which for me isn't a good thing though it sounds like it's what OP needs for work, and sort of suburban. For the most part, that's what I think of JCrew, too. I find myself liking some Cole Haan bags pretty well and the less plain stuff from Kate Spade. In that price range, though, I would go for a Francesco Biasia bag. If I had $500+ (I don't this year and probably won't buy a new bag until maybe fall, maybe not), I would get a Chloe bag. |
| I too am a fan of the F. Biasio bags. Great rec. |

OP here. Thanks for the insights from everyone. I liked the shape of the J. Crew bags, but I really was hoping for some color. I live in a sea of blacks, browns, olives, navies. But the white handbags might be worth looking into.
One reason I love Coach is that it holds up so well. I have some that are almost 20 years old. What other brands are like that? |
