I am so torn between DE at Dominion and RBA. There is about a $7000 cost difference between the two, but RBA is in Atlanta and I live in Virginia. I have read that the donor pool at RBA is more limited even that they "advertise" a huge donor pool, but on the other hand the guarantee at RBA seems to be more of a substantial guarantee than offered at Dominion.
This is a huge decision and I honestly am having a hard time deciding where to go. Advice, thoughts - anything would be appreciated. |

Which is more expensive? If RBA is less, I can tell you we didn't incur $7K in travel expenses. DH flew down Monday night and back on Tuesday morning. I flew down Wednesday night, had new patient appt on Thursday and 5DT on Sunday morning and flew home. Did everything else locally - including some monitoring at DF.
Pool was bare for me back in 2013 - but they were constantly adding donors (but you have to be quick!). Consult to 5dt was less than 3 months and that included 2-3 weeks of waiting in limbo while we kept refreshing the page until we found a donor we liked. |

Which one has a better success rate with DE for your age group?
Are you an out of pocket payer? If so, I'd go to Europe, you could get multiple DE cycles for what you're about to shell out. Sorry, unsolicited advice

| There have been multiple threads about this lately (but that doesn't always help answer YOUR question.) Where are you in the process? What do you NEED TO KNOW to help make your decision? |
| Look at their SART data. I'm assuming you are looking at frozen eggs at RBA and a fresh cycle at DF? Fresh cycle vs frozen cycle = very different timelines. What is DF's donor pool like? RBA guarantees 1 HQE or 2 blasts, right? What is DF's guarantee? |
