Whole Kids Academy is Bethesda's premier language immersion preschool dedicated to providing the highest quality of care, education and enrichment to children ages 2-5 years old. We are a family-owned preschool and as parents of two young boys ourselves, we sought to build a place that we would want to send our own children. We have created a warm, cheerful and safe environment with highly qualified teachers to engage our children in fun, age-appropriate learning activities and creative play. We believe in nourishing children's young bodies with nutritious organic food, lots of sunshine, activity and exercise. We also believe there is a special window of opportunity to reach young children through music, language and technology, which is why they have each earned a prominent place in our everyday curriculum. Above all, our goal is to provide the perfect balance of education and fun through creative play and interactive projects to instill a lifelong love of learning in each child that walks through our doors.

We are conveniently located near Old Georgetown Road near 495 approximately 1.5 miles from NIH, Walter Reed Naval Medical Center and downtown Bethesda.

Our hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 6:00 pm.

Just a quick post

My son attends WKA and we could not be happier. My daughter attended a highly regarded center in downtown Bethesda and Whole Kids is just truly a far better option. The caregivers are warm, attentive and highly educated. The owners are open to suggestions and provide high quality experiences and food to the children. The parent community is very diverse and close knit. Do not be intimidated that this is a Spanish immersion school. The majority of us do not speak Spanish at home and it is astounding how the children have thrived. If you are looking for care in Bethesda, take the time to check this special school out.

You posted this exact same comment on another thread pp. Makes me suspicious.

I can assure you I am a parent. I feel strongly that this is one of the better options in Bethesda and I think many people are unaware of it. I did post the same response on another thread as I did not find it necessary to compose an entirely new post

Am curious - how do you plan to keep up your child's fluency after age 5? The language immersion schools are not in the Bethesda area. Most classes are geared toward kids who aren't fluent (at all). So how will you maintain your child's fluency or even very basic skills?
