We just bought a house and I'm interested in doing some minor work on the bathrooms. They have what I believe are mud-set tiles but they are in good condition and the classic black and white. What I'd like to do is replace the small storage-less pedestal sinks with small-scale vanities. Then over the sink there are currently soap dish things like this (this is not my bathroom, just an example):

And then install the new vanity and a pivot mirror? Would make such a difference in the room. I feel fortunate at the tiles are just the plain white squares available everywhere now. |
You might go to John Bridges Tile blog and search and/or ask this question:
http://www.johnbridge.com/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=1 I have the same question and tiles, and would love to find a retro-bathroom renovator who specializes in doing this in the DC Metro area. If anyone knows one, please post company name. thanx. |
