Suggestions for one night destination next weekend with DH

Anonymous
We are taking both kids to sleep away camp tomorrow. DH and I will be alone for two weeks for the first time in 14 years, but both have to work But, we are hoping to get away next weekend. We want to stay within an hour or two of DC. Planning to leave here Saturday morning and return Sunday evening. We love great food, historic places, quaint towns, some museums, history, antiquing (but not all weekend), peaceful places, but don't need all of those, just some of them.

Any suggestions for great places to go that will be relaxing, will provide some quality couples time, and won't be over-run with kids?

DH has some heart problems, so we can't hike or do too much uphill walking or anything really active. Not interested in Williamsburg, Baltimore, Richmond, Philly, or DE/VA beaches...we've been to all multiple times with the kids. We considered Annapolis or Cambridge/solomons/eastern shore, but it seems like nice hotels and B&B's are pretty much booked or exceed our $250 per night max.

I was debating Berkeley Springs, but don't know anything about it, plus the best B&B's seem to be booked or accept 2 night reservations only.

Would love to hear any suggestions about places we could go....

Gettysburg, PA has history, antiques (in neighboring towns), and is pretty low key, not a lot of kids.

We were doing exactly this in inner harbor Baltimore last weekend. We had a great time!

Oxford MD is very nice. You can sit in a park downtown and watch the small boat races. There is an excellent ice cream shop. The Robert Morris Inn has an excellent restaurant.

I also very much like Knapps Narrows Inn in Tilghman, although that may be a bit too laid back for some. You can sit by the bridge and watch the working boats go by.
