Are you a car salesman/woman? How much are they willing to come down from the MSRP?

We are on the market for a 2015 H Odyssey. MRSP is 42,900 - what should we be our target price when negotiating? How far can we get this price down (and I mean "out of the lot price" which includes all the fees/taxes etc)?

No need for financing if it matters.

Thanks!

There are good deals on Odyssey now since next year it will be redesigned. Not sure about taxes and tags since it varies by state. You should be able to get it for
$38,500 including delivery.

Use TrueCar. I put in what we wanted, then emailed a bunch of dealers asking for their "out the door price" and telling them the True Car estimate.

We got $300 below the Costco pricing on the 2015 Odyssey with USAA financing. I think $34.5 with taxes?

Don't look at MSRP. Look invoice. You should be paying between $300 and $500 off of invoice unless it is a really hot car or something kind of rare.

Touring for $38ish. Elite for $40ish.

Costco invoice price $38,411 + $880 destination fee. So, according to what you are saying, a quote of $38,850 (from a dealer) is a good price and I am not likely to get anything much lower than this if at all…

Thanks!

You guys were VERY helpful!!
