Hilaria Baldwin's Spanish cosplay shows which Hispanic stereotypes white people are cool with
The woman once known as Hillary faked an accent and foolishness that was socially acceptable to white America — and which actual Latinos can never afford.

This is what happened in my opinion. Some people think everyone is fungible. Alec was obviously in love with Selma and it didn’t go well. He wanted a Latina so he made one. Casting.

Dying to know what Selma thinks about all of this!

Were all their kids conceived via IVF? How did they come about with ONE female embryo? Not how it usually works.

I do wish that life was really that simple and our worse problem was Hillaria Baldwin. I wish I could be that deluded and believe that.

Thanks for your insightful diagnoses. So, do you feel fabricating a persona and pretending you are it for a decade, posting nonstop 24-7 on social media including standing on your head or doing other poses on counters and tables while others are trying to enjoy a meal, travel, etc. and having your young child compare her "white" arm to your "dark" ethnic arm, then blaming everyone and making it their fault that you lied and people said so is a healthy person? What is your input here?

Please, go beyond "she isn't hurting anyone," and "everyone is jealous of the "beautiful" "rich" grifter explainer. You came to go deep about mental illness, and everyone's lack in life.

Also, how about you being on a message board yourself? How is life going for you? Do you have cats?

Omg no one here believes this situation is our worst problem. Jesus.

I mean. Maybe not most. A few of you sure seem to. It’s an entire thing.

Well and here you are, taking time out of your robust, fulfilling, sane life to mingle with such a group about an issue that isn't the end of your world.

The ones with frizzy haired cats that aren't "going West" for the holidays, as a pp surmised.

It appears that this persona was created before she met Alec, if so then it wasn’t some complicated plot used to snag him. The question is why did she adopt this identity in the first place?

Gitana is not a slur. On the contrary it's considered exotic. I'm Cuban but all four of my grandparents were from Spain. Its common in Cuban and Spanish homes to have a framed picture with the title "Gitana." But here again, she named her company what she aspires to be, the exotic Gitana, as if she were. Here's an example: https://fabianperez.com/art/gitana-painting/

If it refers to Romani people in a negative way it is a slur. https://www.barcelona-metropolitan.com/features/roma-community-barcelona/

The ones who have dogs they never potty trained and allow to use bathroom on pads in their million dollar home are the most obsessed.

I find this whole thread fascinating. Keep posting! I was looking for a light beach novel for the holidays and this is partially it. It is better than some of the other good imposter stories, like that woman in New York who pretended to be a rich European. I also want to rewatch that 30 Rock episodes where Donaghy almost marries someone pretending to me a rich European. Sounds like Tina or the writers knew - just like they did with Cosby, etc. All these “open secrets” that we never knew.

I've been pretty neutral about her. Easily avoidable, etc.
This is beyond the bounds of any human decency.

Agreed. She has a personality disorder.

I have not been keeping up with this at all and have no interest in their lives but I happened to catch a headline about her miscarriage. I just clicked on this thread and saw this. How absolutely disgusting and narcissistic of somebody to post a selfie on her way to d&c.

but remember - no paparazzi,
