Has your director said anything to you about it? US soccer also sent out a survey in 2019. Nothing changed.

Our club director said US soccer is failing because kids do not attend schools by birth year, like in Europe. He said a big announcement regarding this very topic is imminent.

Whether it will happen or not is irrelevant to being out of the loop that much to claim they didn't even know it was being talked about.

I don’t think coaches pay attention to rumors post about online. The fact that no ECNL directors know about this means definitely just a rumor and not happening.

If ECNL was going to change something as big as this they would at least give directors a heads up.

Big difference between coaches hearing about the rumor from team managers or ECNL sending out a memo. No memo has been sent. No change is happening.

They dedicated an entire podcast to the topic, it's on the main ECNL website. I'm not saying it's happening. The point is there has been more than dcum rumor on the topic. If you are in fact an ECNL director I would hope you were at least aware of what the head of ECNL is talking about.

Our ENCL club director doesn't know it's definitely happening. I asked him. He knows about the discussion. He said our club will follow whatever rule comes out. Don't worry about it. My daugther and all the kids will have a team to play on next year with whatever rule is used. So he knows this is being discussed. Doesn't seem like he cares one way or the other to me.

ECNL directors would know by now. The fact they don’t means more than likely not happening for 25/26.
