S/o furniture thread - buy now, deliver in 1 month?

| Like the OP of the previous thread we find ourselves in the position of needing several rooms worth of furniture. We would like to take advantage of 7/4 sales; however we will not be moving until early August. Will stores allow us to buy now, but schedule delivery for Aug? |

| That may be the case anyway if you are custom ordering anything. |

| Yeah, most furniture isn't ready to go for at least a month or six weeks. I think you can schedule delivery. I had to hold a furniture delivery because it came in later than expected and we were in the NICU by then. It was no big deal, they just held it at the warehouse. |

| Sure, they can keep it in their warehouse, but it will generally take 6-10 weeks to deliver anyway. |
