TTC after MMC and CP

| Missed miscarriage in April, followed by D&C. Conceived again after first normal period, only to learn that it was a chemical. OB says not to worry and that she would not recommend further testing until after three miscarriages, but I am wondering whether I should consult an RE at this point? Conceived DC (who is almost 2) at 34 easily and with no complications. Thoughts? |

So sorry for your losses OP. I have had a similar experience this past year (2 consecutive miscarriages after an easy pregnancy with my 2yo). My OB referred me to a MFM practice for testing. Even though everything has come back normal so far, I am glad for the extra attention the MFM doctor has provided. My first instinct was to contact an RE like you mentioned, but both my OB and posters on here said MFM is a good first step as they are interested in diagnosing problems, whereas some REs are just focused on getting you pregnant.
