Halt and Catch Fire

Anyone else watching season 2 and wondering when its going to get interesting?

Yes, I'm watching and have had trouble getting into it this season. I did think the last episode was better -- things seem to be picking up. It looks like Joe and Gordon may get back together on a project. Joe has just been sad and lifeless this season -- not sure what to make of that? Donna appears to be moving in the direction of starting chatrooms and more social media stuff, which is interesting. Not sure what Cameron is up to, but the new guy she hired promises to be interesting. I thought the scene where he was calming her down after her panic attack might be signaling that he'll be her new love interest or at least an important person for her. Will be interesting to see what happens next week. I hope it improves or I might have to give up on it!

OP here. I agree, this last episode was better, for all the reasons you list. The start was slow though, I felt it took a good 15 mins to get going. Maybe they just didn't have enough material and are stringing out longer than necessary episodes because that's the pattern they have established.
